Related Midwest and 210 Design House Host 23rd Annual Charity Golf Classic Benefiting 3 Chicago Nonprofits

Over $500,000 raised for HIRE360, Saturday Place and Kids Rank

CHICAGO (Sept. 18, 2026) — Related Midwest, in partnership with 210 Design House, a luxury kitchen, bath, closet and furnishings showroom, hosted its 23rd annual Charity Golf Classic at Chicago’s Harborside International Golf Course on Sept. 17. The event attracted 300 real estate and construction industry professionals, with more than 70 participating foursomes, raising over $500,000 for three Chicago-area nonprofits: HIRE360, Saturday Place and Kids Rank.

Throughout its 23-year history, the Golf Classic has raised nearly $9 million to support organizations that provide services and programs for children and youth across Chicago. The event has consistently supported HIRE360, a cross-industry partnership that helps high school students pursue careers in the construction and building trades, and Saturday Place, which offers enhanced academic programming for third and fourth graders. This year, the event also benefited Kids Rank, an organization that empowers military-connected children through programs that build resilience, leadership and service, while strengthening their social and emotional well-being.

“Building stronger communities goes beyond the work we do every day — it’s also about investing in the next generation of industry professionals who will shape the future of our city,” said Don Biernacki, Executive Vice President of Construction at Related Midwest and a member of the Golf Classic Committee. “We are deeply grateful to our partners who continue to show up with such generosity, helping ensure organizations like HIRE360, Saturday Place and Kids Rank have the resources they need to educate and empower young people across our city.”

“As designers and creators, we understand that supporting youth-focused nonprofits like this year’s beneficiaries is an investment in Chicago’s future,” said Rama Dandamudi, CEO of 210 Design House and a Golf Classic Committee member. “It’s inspiring to witness how these organizations empower youth to envision, design and build better communities, and we are proud to support them.”

“Year after year, the Golf Classic brings together leaders from across the real estate industry for a day of camaraderie and purpose-driven giving,” said Ann Thompson, FAIA, Executive Vice President of Architecture and Design at Related Midwest and a Golf Classic Committee member. “The enthusiasm of our supporters and the impact of the beneficiaries remind us why this work matters — together, we are creating opportunities for Chicago’s youth not only to thrive personally but to help build a stronger, more vibrant city for all.”

Major sponsors of this year’s Golf Classic included All-Tech Decorating, Amberleaf Home, Boldyn Networks, BOWA Construction, Clayco, Gurtz Electric Company, Jensen Window Corporation, KR Tech, Moen Inc., Ozinga, The Levy Company and Xfinity.
