Related Midwest lists turnkey, designer-furnished model condominium at ultra-luxury One Bennett Park

The signature model in the Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed building is move-in ready with furniture, artwork, light fixtures, wallcoverings, window treatments and customized closets.

Related Midwest today listed a custom-furnished three-bedroom condominium on the 51st floor of its ultra-luxury residential tower, One Bennett Park, for $4.9m. The first and only high-rise in Chicago designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA), One Bennett Park has set an ambitious new standard of excellence for luxury living in downtown Chicago, housing a collection of sophisticated heirloom residences with best-in-class modern amenities, an array of white-glove services and sweeping vistas of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.

Decorated as the building’s signature model, the newly-listed home is furnished by Bruce Fox Design, an award-winning Chicago-based interior designer with projects across the country, whose carefully crafted interior aesthetic drew upon maximalist principles to complement the home’s extraordinary views and RAMSA’s classic architecture. Fox’s artistic design for the home includes numerous pieces of vintage furniture and light fixtures, hand-painted wall coverings by Gucci and Phillip Jeffries, and original artwork, photography and accessories in every room (a full listing of notable furnishings can be found here).

“This model residence is the embodiment of Related Midwest’s vision for One Bennett Park to deliver homes of unparalleled design, merging the gracious floor plans and refined craftsmanship of Robert A.M. Stern with an artistic, historically-inspired and sophisticated palette curated by Bruce Fox,” said Ann Thompson, senior vice president of architecture and design at Related Midwest. “With access to best-in-class building amenities and services, this one-of-a-kind residence, which lives like a single-family home in the sky, is sure to be treasured now and for generations to come.”

This 3,622-square-foot condominium features sweeping views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and the city’s skyline from the home’s many oversized windows. The southeast-facing home includes a formal entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, three full bathrooms, powder room, primary bedroom suite with two walk-in closets, two additional bedrooms, laundry room and dedicated service entrance.

“As an art and architecture lover, I was immediately drawn to this building and, as a designer, I found inspiration in RAMSA’s perfectly executed details—from the herringbone tile in the lobby, reminiscent of David Adler, to the Art-Deco-inspired design,” said Bruce Fox, president of Bruce Fox Design. “My selections for this home are infused with elements inspired by Adler and his sister, Francis Elkins, to create a richly layered composition with bespoke antiques and collectibles selected for the space to add character and depth.”

Opulent interior finishes include custom-painted, 11-foot ceilings with RAMSA custom-designed millwork and crown molding; rift and quarter-sawn, white-oak hardwood wide-plank flooring with herringbone pattern in select areas; Lutron motorized shades; and Snaidero customized closets. The kitchen features RAMSA-designed custom cabinetry and metal range hood; Perla Venato stone countertops and backsplash; and fully integrated and built-in Sub-Zero, Wolf and Asko appliances, including custom-paneled column refrigerator and freezer, wine storage and a five-burner gas cooktop. The home’s primary bath includes a RAMSA custom-designed double vanity; Statuario white, polished marble countertop and tile floor; mosaic-tile shower base; radiant floor heating; and a freestanding soaking tub.

This residence, along with other new-construction condominiums in the building, is exclusively listed by the Chicago office of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.

“This is a rare turnkey opportunity to own a custom-designed, move-in ready, new construction home in one of Chicago’s most architecturally significant buildings, with world-class amenities and five-star, hospitality-level management and services,” said Tim Salm, vice president of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. “There’s nothing else like it on the market.”

The residential experience at One Bennett Park is enhanced by the building’s amenities, such as owner-exclusive spaces on the 41st floor that include an entertainment lounge with fireplace and adjacent grand terrace overlooking Lake Michigan; a billiards room with a custom table by Billards Toulet; a reservable private dining room and catering kitchen; and a cordial lounge with bar and wood-paneled lockers for storing spirits. Owners also enjoy access to a reservable spa suite with massage therapy room, a salon for hair and nail services and a Pilates training room.

Additional building amenities include club-level fitness and wellness facilities with functional performance and training studios; a 60-foot indoor saltwater pool; a children’s play suite with prep kitchen; a lounge area with fireplace; and an entertainment suite with direct access to a 10,000-square-foot recreational deck with a limestone loggia, pool, fire pit lounges and grilling kitchens by Sub-Zero and Wolf.

The building’s flagship amenity is Bennett Park, an adjacent 2-acre neighborhood park designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates—landscape architect for Maggie Daley Park and The 606 trail—that features abundant native landscaping, a central lawn bowl, a children’s playground, two dog runs, pathways and shaded seating.
