As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Related Midwest, Tricia Van Horn leads all marketing and public relations campaigns, corporate and project branding, sales and leasing strategies, and internal communications. Her leadership has been instrumental in the successful launch, lease-up and closeout of over 10,000 new rental and for-sale residences across Chicago, spanning luxury condominium developments, mixed-use apartment towers, and affordable and mixed-income housing communities.
Van Horn’s expertise has been pivotal in delivering Chicago’s most anticipated residential properties. Notable projects include The Row, a Morris Adjmi-designed rental tower in the Fulton Market District, and One Bennett Park, the city’s first high-rise designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. She also oversees integrated marketing and leasing strategies for pioneering affordable and mixed-income developments, such as Lathrop, a multiyear, multiphase transformation of the historic Julia C. Lathrop Homes and Roosevelt Square, on Chicago’s west side.
Van Horn also spearheads marketing efforts for Related Midwest’s master-planned projects, including the 440-acre Quantum Shore, whose first phase will be anchored by the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park. Another current project includes The 78, a 62-acre mixed-use neighborhood redevelopment along the South Branch of the Chicago River that will be the new home of the Chicago Fire FC, and 400 Lake Shore, a pair of residential towers being built at the confluence of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River in Streeterville.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years of real estate experience, Van Horn is a licensed real estate broker and member of the Chicago Association of Realtors®. She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
