Every summer, a group of fresh faces joins the Related Midwest team as interns to learn new skills and gain experience in the real estate development industry. These internships aren’t meant to be just resume-builders—they offer hands-on experience with challenging projects and give students a chance to learn from some of the most talented minds in the business while experiencing all that Chicago has to offer.
Related offers two internship opportunities: the Summer Analyst program for undergraduate students and the Summer Associate program for graduate students. Students within each program are paired with a business track best suited to their interests including development, construction and architecture and design. Related interns have ample opportunities to explore the industry beyond their day-to-day work including a speaker series lead by the leaders of Related, site tours to Related properties across Chicago, and many chances to network with professionals and peers.
This year, Related Midwest is proud to welcome 10 interns to our Chicago office, who are part of a 40-person intern class across Related’s offices in Chicago, New York, West Palm Beach, Santa Monica and San Francisco.
