To commemorate Labor Day and recognize the hard work and dedication of the tradespeople working on the 400 Lake Shore construction site, Related Midwest, LR Contracting Company and AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust recently hosted a luncheon attended by approximately 300 workers, partners, union leaders and dignitaries.
Events like this reflect our commitment to building not just structures, but strong relationships with everyone involved in our projects. Just over a year since it broke ground, 400 Lake Shore is already reshaping the downtown skyline even before reaching its full height — a testament to the progress of those working tirelessly to transform this prominent lakefront site.
Attendees at the event included representatives from waterproofing, carpentry, electric, concrete, HVAC, masonry, excavation, curtainwall, elevators, plumbing and fire protection trades.
