LR Contracting Project Spotlight Project Spotlight Poplar Place Related Midwest and LR Contracting recently unveiled a comprehensive plan to preserve and rehabilitate 100 affordable residences at Poplar Place in Springfield, IL. The 23-acre community will undergo a positive transformation with revitalized modern homes, featuring new kitchens and bathrooms, energy-efficient appliances, new lighting and new heating systems. Structural improvements to residences will include new roofing, windows and exterior siding, as well as new one-car garages for each of the 50 single-family homes. Residents will also receive a new community center and playground, which will provide them and their families new spaces to come together in the neighborhood.
